Debut EP, ‘This Is A Dinosaur’, out now!

Saachi is an Alternative Jazz-Pop act from London. Their eclectic sound is a quirky blend of Indie with Jazz and Pop. Featuring keys, kit, brass and bass, with high energy vocals, their line-up draws inspiration from Jazz-influenced bands such as The Cat Empire and Supertramp.

Lead singer Saachi Sen's songwriting has gained high level recognition, winning PRS for Music’s Lynsey de Paul prize, featuring on compilation albums from EMI’s ‘30/30’ project and SongAcademy UK. Her delivery emulates pop acts such as Sara Bareilles, Colbie Caillat and Regina Spektor. Saachi was a Roundhouse Resident Artist in 2017-18. Keys player Nathan Miller also writes for the band, drawing on influences Jamie Cullum, Jason Mraz and The Correspondents.

The band played to full audiences at venues such as the iconic Camden Assembly (including a gig for War Child with Solo agency), Upstairs at the Garage, Cambridge Junction, with a sold-out headline show at the Borderline recently. They achieved finalist status in the Isle of Wight Festival’s ‘New Blood’ competition as one of 8 out of over 2000 entries, as well as the Cambridge Band Competition, broadcast on TV and radio.

Anaesthetise was recorded at Abbey Road and is on the band's EP, with the latest tracks mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Pixies). The lead single, Redcoat (featured as #1 track on MSG Up & Coming January) has a music video, find it on
