WHO WE ARE
Our charity helps young people learn new skills, build confidence and make connections, all through their passion for music.
Whether you’re on-stage, backstage or front of house, there’s a place for you at The Basement Door.
We're all about unlocking potential and providing opportunities for young people through music.
WHAT WE DO
We put on gigs around South West London, giving young people the chance to perform, produce and volunteer at live events.
It helps them build new skills, learn new things, meet like-minded people, and make new friends all in a safe, drug-free, alcohol-free environment.

HOW WE HELP
We train volunteers in all aspects of the music industry, providing them with invaluable experiences that help set them up for the challenges of adult life.
Whether that's building confidence and musical ability to perform in front of crowds, music engineering skills such as AV and lighting, or learning how to put on an event, at The Basement Door gig nights, young people learn how it's done and how to put it into practice.
We also partner with like-minded organisations to provide entertainment at local community events.
