Meet Our The Basement Door Team

Louise Nagle
Chair of Trustees
Louise has been coming to Basement Door gigs since her Daughter joined in 2019. It has been her pleasure to spend the last few years as a music teacher across Hounslow, introducing children who has often never heard them before to the joys of Queen, Bob Marley, Jerry Lee and Foo Fighters. She previously had far less enjoyable jobs working as a senior manager and consultant for Local Authorities and private companies.

Ken McMahon
Trustee
Ken was introduced to the charity recently and wanted to help The Basement Door make a positive change supporting young talent to achieve their goals in the music industry. He has been a senior manager at several big film studios and now serves as an independent consultant. In his spare time you'll find him searching for vinyl to add to his eclectic record collection, having foolishly given most of it away in the 90's.

Tom Strike
Trustee
I am an architect and expert witness with a passion for design and community engagement. For the past three years, I have been volunteering with The Basement Door after my sons' band, Blood Like Wine, started gigging there. My involvement includes organising and assisting with gigs, and I serve as a trustee a role I find incredibly rewarding as it enables me to combine my technical expertise and a dedication to supporting young talent in the local music scene.

Clara Lane
Trustee
I spent many years in youth theatre and did a media performance degree at university. I started working in voice overs at a young age so have learnt my job over many years doing it. I have been a voice over for over 20 years I have my own recording facilities and have worked for a vast number of clients from Coca-Cola to Global Radio and the BBC. I also work with children helping in the classroom taking small groups to improve fluency of reading. I love organising events and working with the Basement Door team.

Emily & Ellis
Co-Lead Acoustic Organisers
Both started their Basement Door involvement as young performers at various Acoustic Nights and events showcasing their talent and love for music. Recently, they returned as part of the volunteer team to help run a refreshed Acoustic Session program to ensure the young people can gain as much experience and skills from this charity as they once did.
