The Basement Door is a charity providing opportunities for young people aged 13 - 22 to perform, create, learn and gain real-world experience in live music and event production.
We believe in talent. We believe in confidence.
And this is only the beginning.
Youth Volunteer Training
At TBD, we provide training for young people as backstage crew in lighting, on the sound desk and front of house. We also provide young musicians opportunities, giving them a chance to perform on stage and hone their craft. From customer service, to making coffee and sound checking a live band the range of skills you can learn is huge. This year we have extended our training and work experience opportunities to include other areas such as filmmaking & photography.
